If you would like for the lines to be located prior to the 48 hour request time, but the situation is not an emergency, we may request the lines to be located for you by the requested time. However, you would be requesting a NON-COMPLIANT Locate request. In accordance with state law, owners of underground facilities do have 48 hours to locate the lines at your requested location. Failure to comply with the law puts you at great risk of serious injuries, damages to vital services, and fiscal and criminal penalties imposed by state and federal agencies. Please use careful consideration prior to requesting a Non-Compliant Locate Request.
